Intuition and knowing when to say yes.

If you have a good relationship with your intuition and know how to trust your gut, then you have a gift that most people lack.

But even with this gift, sometimes it can be hard to follow up on what our intuition/gut tells us. Especially when it means doing something outside of our comfort zone or anything that might disrupt our personal status quo.

When that happens, when we say “no” to something that we should be saying “yes” to, we are doing a disservice to our destiny and ourselves. It’s during these times that I’m reminded of the following (edited) passage from the author Dave Eggers:

“When you die, you will not be happy about having said no. You will be kicking your a*s about all the no’s you’ve said. No to that opportunity…or no to that person who wants to be with you but you worry about what your friends will say. No is for wimps. No is for weaklings. No is to live small and embittered, cherishing the opportunities you missed because they might have sent the wrong message.”
